Inclusive Nature Erasmus+ project is based on sensory development for special need children in nature. Its primary goal is to empower teachers to spend more time outdoors with special needs children by offering training and resources.
Outcomes
SENSORY PLAY AREAS
Three sensory Play Area have been organized in partner countries.
PILOT ACTIVITIES FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN
More than 15 children were reached with 5 children attending from each
country. Three workshops have been held with special needs children.
SENSORY DEVELOPMENT IN NATURE HANDBOOK
It presents a selection of 10-15 games or activities that can be done with special needs
children in nature. Handbook was published online in 4 language: english, turkish, slovenian and finish.
LOCAL NATURE BASED SENSORY DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS
Teachers from each country ran workshops with families and their special needs children and local teachers/parents have been invited for a dissemination workshop.
